You choose: splurge or save?
You choose: splurge or save?: Which branded product will win the battle of the budget? Get the less expensive to give away randomly. Leave them behind at meetings or hand them out to anyone who might be a prospective client. Get the expensive ones to send to existing clients as a thank you. Intimacy, or Why Promotional Product Advertising Works
What is intimacy?
The dictionary defines intimacy as "a close, familiar, and usually affectionate or loving personal relationship with another person or group." Intimacy in any form is essential in not only maintaining relationships, but also making them better. Affection goes a long way. The same holds true in relationships between businesses and customers. Promotional products help spread intimacy. Below are the three kinds of intimacy that promotional products provide.
Universal intimacy
As advertising agencies continue to try to find new and
innovate ways to spread messages in an increasingly digital world, there is one
tried and true method of physical advertising that is still finding a lot of success.
Promotional products have proven to be one of the best ways for a company or
organization to spread their message to the world. While you may not realize it
at first, almost any item can be turned into a promotional product. From pens
to coffee mugs to t-shirts, ordinary things that people use every day can
easily be transformed into an advertisement for your brand. There really is nothing that cannot be turned into a promotional product. It is a kind of universal intimacy.
Everlasting intimacy
The great thing about promotional products is that they
usually last much longer than traditional forms of advertising. For example, a
person may watch a television commercial for 30 seconds, but they may keep a
mug with your company’s logo on it for 10 years. In addition, promotional
products have the opportunity to change hands, finding new audiences through
the years as items are passed on from one person to another. Promotional products can be heirlooms and collectibles. Just watch an episode of Pawn Stars or American Pickers.
Recalling intimacy
Besides the longevity of promotional products, studies have
shown that people are able to easily recall logos and brands on these types of
items. When a person receives a t-shirt, they are able to much easily remember
the logo on that shirt than if they saw the same logo on a commercial or
billboard. That is because the shirt actually belongs to them, and they develop
a deeper connection with it than an advertisement that they see on TV or in a
magazine. The moment something latches onto the mind, it will eventually make its way to the heart.
Intimacy is the way to go
It is all about developing an intimate connection between
brand and customer. Promotional products are a surefire way to accomplish that.
Nowadays, the key to a successful business is intimacy!

Working with the STUDIOS
Working with the studios is always a treat. They have expensive tastes but not always does the budget match the taste. It is very important to follow up with all vendors and know the specifics when placing the orders. Happy customers are repeat customers. Artwork to follow.

What to do?
What do you do when you have a big meeting and you samples haven't arrived?
I want to meet to show what's coming but it seems kind of silly when there are no samples to show.
What to do? What to do?
